The NYPD says it is ramping up patrols at religious sites across New York City in the wake of what the FBI is calling an "act of terrorism" targeted at pro-Israeli demonstrators in Colorado Sunday.
Authorities says a man wielding a makeshift flamethrower attacked a pro-Israel demonstration.
The FBI says the man yelled "Free Palestine" before throwing the makeshift flamethrower into the crowd.
Authorities say the attack injured eight people.
